GAME Duck Races are going to have a very big weekend!
This week’s Derby Duck races will be taking place in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Kingsport, Tennessee, Walla Walla, Washington, Vero Beach, Florida and Cartersville, Georgia.
Kingsport‘s race taking place this Saturday at noon at the Holston River will give someone a chance at $2000 cash! The race benefits The Boys and Girls Club of Kingsport.
Supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank in New Orleans is the 2013 Greater New Orleans Rubber Duck Derby at Bayou Boogaloo on Bayou St. John Sunday at 4pm. With every $1 donated to this race, the Second Harvest Food Bank can provide the equivalent of $15.50 in grocery/food items.
Murfreesboro’s race benefits the Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit agency that serves victims of child abuse, child sexual abuse, and drug-endangered children, along with their non-offending family members. This Derby Duck Race will take place Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro SportsCom. The winner will get $5000.
Cartersville, Georgia’s race is celebrating it’s 10th year of GAME Duck Racing this weekend! With festivities beginning at 10am at Riverside Park, this will be a fun-filled day with prizes including a new car and even a shopping spree. The race benefits Advocates for Children who strives to one day help create a world where all children are respected and loved, happy and thriving.
The race in Vero Beach will take place Sunday at 4pm. This GAME Duck Race will benefit Treasure Coast Community Health Foundation funding the Women’s Care Safety Net Fund dedicated to funding mammograms and pap smears for women who would not have the means to get these tests.
