American flags, barbecues, family and friends, and “firequackers” will mark another Fourth of July celebration across the country. We have two great Derby Duck Races this weekend that will make this year’s Fourth one to remember.

 

40,000 – 50,000 Derby Ducks will race at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley Duck Race this Friday. Starting at 2:02pm ET, the Derby Ducks will launch into the water at the World’s Fair Park in Knoxville, Tenn. hoping to win the grand prize of $10,000 cash for their Duck Adopter. Other prizes include $5,000 cash, a 3ct. diamond bracelet worth over $3,000, a $2,500 gift card to Pilot Food Mart, and a $2,000 marina package. The Duck Race is also hosting a Celebrity Duck Auction where spectators have the chance to bid on autographed Derby Ducks signed by some of the biggest stars including Will Ferrell, Jimmy Kimmel, Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Payton Manning, and more! All Duck Adoption proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley which serves over 6,300 members at 17 clubs in Knoxville, Blount, Loudon, and North Anderson Counties. 6,000 Derby Ducks return for the Great American Duck Race in The Woodlands, Texas. These patriotic ducks will race their way in the Rob Flemings Aquatic Center’s lazy river at 3:00pm CT for a chance to win a 2015 Camaro!
