Ducks 4 Bucks Race
Our first race is in Fremont, California for the 20th Annual Ducks 4 Bucks Race hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Fremont. Starting at 11am PDT on April 26th, join 10,000 Derby Ducks at Lake Elizabeth for a family fun carnival, food, music, and the race that begins at 1pm. Adopt a Duck today for your shot at great prizes including a car of your choice at the Fremont Auto Mall (up to $30,000 value). Other prizes include $2,000 cash, massages for a year, jewelry and more! All Duck Adoption proceeds will benefit nonprofits in the Fremont community.

Omega Nu Ducky Derby
Our second race in California takes our Derby Ducks to Santa Cruz for the 24th Annual Ducky Derby. Also on Saturday 12,000 Derby Ducks will race at Harvey West Park in their very own manmade waterway. Spectators can enjoy food, games, live music and local entertainment. Nearly 100 prizes are being offered ranging from movie tickets, gift certificates, overnight getaways, and more! The event is organized by Omega Nu of Santa Cruz who raised over $100,000 in 2013 and aims to surpass that goal for 2014. The fun begins at 10:30am PDT, Adopt a Duck today!

Kerrville Public School Foundation Duck Race
Continuing the race fun on Saturday, April 26th, we also have a Derby Duck Race in Kerrville, Texas for the 7th Annual Kerrville Public School Foundation Great Duck Race. Starting at 10am CDT at Flatrock Park, the event will have a Kidz Science Safari, Duck Fashion Show, Face Painting, Kayak Race and more family fun activities. The big race begins at 12pm with 5,000 Derby Ducks racing for one of the seven prizes.
All proceeds benefit the Kerrville Public School Foundation whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for involving the community in the enhancement and achievement of academic excellence for the children of Kerrville ISD. The Foundation provides financial assistance not available through the state or local funding.

Second Harvest of South Georgia Derby Duck Race
The Second Harvest of South Georgia’s Derby Duck Race in Valdosta, GA returns for its 11th year of racing. On Saturday, April 26, a total of 10,000 ducks swim at Wild Adventures’ Paradise River for the chance to win some great prizes.
Proceeds benefit Second Harvest of South Georgia, the second largest food bank in the state of Georgia. One Duck Adoption can feed a child a meal at Second Harvest’s Kids Café program daily for a week. Two ducks provide a 55 pound bag of food for a family of four. Five ducks provide a senior citizen with lunch daily for a week. Adopt a Duck and help feed the hungry.

Kindermourn Hope Floats Duck Race
Wrapping up the weekend is KinderMourn’s 10th Annual Hope Floats Duck Race on Sunday, April 27th at 2pm EDT. Returning to the US National Whitewater Center, 15,000 Derby Ducks race to the finish line. A cash prize of $2,500 is the grand prize.
KinderMourn provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children and teens by offering counseling programs and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss. Many of the adopted ducks are in memory of a loved one. Adopt your Duck today.
