Our Derby Duck Racers are going strong with some sold out races. The momentum continues this weekend with six duck races all the way from the East in Fort Kent, Maine to the West in Roseburg, Oregon. Check them out and Adopt a Duck before they sell out!
Great Texarkana Duck Race
With a mission of “Extending the Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ,” Chirstus St. Michael provides patient-centered quality care through the Center for Joint Replacement.
Where: Texarkana, TX at Holiday Springs Water Park
When: Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 from 9am – 11am CT
Highlights: In celebration of the 25th anniversary, if you adopt $25 of ducks then you will be entered into an additional drawing for a $100 gift card to Boomerang Carwash.

Roseburg Rotary Duck Race
Who: Roseburg Rotary Club
Roseburg Rotary Club hosts this 16th annual race with proceeds benefitting a variety of organizations including Court Appointed Special Advocates, Douglas C.A.R.E.S., Family Development Center, Battered Persons’ Advocacy, Safe Haven Maternity Home, and Healthy Start.

The Duck Run starts at 8am PT, Family Events begin at 9:30am and the Duck Race begins at 10:30am

The International Ducky Derby Invasion
Hosted by the Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, part of the proceeds will also benefit the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund and the Hope & Justice Project.

The Center for Prevention of Abuse 26th Annual Duck Race
The Center for Prevention of Abuse provides safety and support to over 5,000 women, men and children of all ages who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, elder abuse, and abuse of adults with disabilities.
Where: Peoria, IL at the Peoria Riverfront next to the Spirit of Peoria
When: Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at 12pm CT and ducks start swimming at 2pm
Highlights: Giant Quacky will make his last stop of 2014 at this 26th annual duck race. The specquackular day will be filled with food, music, children’s activities, and more. You don’t want to miss out!

Nevada Humane Society Duck Race & Festival
The Nevada Humane Society’s mission is to bring people and animals together to create a no-kill community in Washoe County. NHS provides shelter and care to homeless pets, low-cost spay/neuter, pet adoption and other services for the community.

Highlights: This 5th annual event will have live music, games, clowns, face painting, refreshments, and most importantly Pet Adoptions!
