Tour de Turtle IF Race

The first race of the day is also a Mini Turbo Turtle Race. The first annual Tour de Turtle IF Race will make its grand debut in Iowa Falls, IA on Saturday. Beginning at 11am CDT turtle race fans can enjoy an afternoon of family friendly activities, food, and refreshments at the Boat House.  A total of $1,500 is up for grabs as the grand prize. All proceeds will benefit the Grand Jivante Foundation whose mission is to have seniors embrace life, not retire from it. Adopt a Turtle today before all 2,000 sell out!

This quacky race wouldn’t be possible without the Daybreak Rotary who have over the last seven years have given more than $405,000 to local youth organizations with the help of community sponsors and duck race. This year’s race will support the YouthPort at Polk Education Center, the Jon Cushing Sunshine Fund, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids, LBA Foundation, and the Daybreak Rotary’s ESNA Village Network Project.
