Center for Prevention of Abuse
The first race of the weekend is no first-timer to duck racing! The Center for Prevention of Abuse is racing for the 28th year! On Saturday, August 27 join 25,000 Derby Ducks at Eastside Centre in Peoria, IL for an afternoon of quacky fun. At 2pm CDT the ducks will race to win one of 14 prizes! Prizes this year include multiple $100 gift cards to various local business, a $500 grocery gift card, and a Chicago White Sox Basket! One lucky duck will waddle home with the grand prize of $5,000! All proceeds will benefit the Center for Prevention of Abuse. Each year The Center provides safety and support to over 5,000 women, men, and children of all ages who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, elder abuse, and abuse of adults with disabilities. Every duck adoption makes a difference. Race a duck, stop abuse!

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of York and Adam Counties
The next race of the weekend is new to the racing scene. On Sunday, August 28 the York Turtle Derby is making its debut in York, PA with a Mini Turbo Turtle Race. At 2pm EDT 2,000 Turbo Turtles launch off at the Market Street Bridge and race down the Cordorus Creek for their shot at a $500 grand prize! All proceeds will benefit the Big Brother Big Sisters of York and Adams Counties whose mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever! St. Charles Rotary and Equine Dreams
The Fox Valley Ducky Derby wraps up the weekend of fundraising in St. Charles, IL. The St. Charles Rotary Club and Equine Dreams are teaming up once again and are racing more Derby Ducks! On Sunday, August 28th 10,000 Derby Ducks will dip into the lazy river at Otter Cove Aquatic Park for a chance to win one of three cash prizes: $1,000; $1,500; $2,500. All proceeds will help change lives! Equine Dreams provides equine assisted activities to help veterans and people with special needs. The St. Charles Rotary Club provides local scholarships and is involved in a variety of community service project. Every duck adopted will make a difference!
